EcoPartnerships is the premier initiative for sub-national organizations from the U.S. and China to demonstrate breakthrough energy, environmental, and climate change solutions.  Businesses, universities, localities and non-profits are often the best laboratories for testing new approaches, yet transitioning promising concepts to market-viable solutions is often insurmountable.  Recognizing this opportunity, the U.S. Department of State and China National Development and Reform Commission established the EcoPartnerships program in 2008, and it has grown significantly over the years. 

Session 2 will respond to audience-generated topics from the intervening networking period and address practical issues affecting the implementation of long-term American-Chinese cooperation on the environment
