Northwest China Council Roundtable
December 11, 2012 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
FreeNow that both the U.S.A. and the P.R.C. have completed their national leadership selections for the next four and ten years respectively, what is the hope we have for productive US/China cooperation in the years and decades ahead? Do we have to rely only on the national governments to solve our communication issues? How can everyday citizens become involved in the US/China relationship? The Northwest China Council will host a round table discussion led by Carson Tavenner on The Tai Initiative’s vision for answering these questions through sub-national communication between Americans and Chinese. Please join us on Tuesday evening Dec. 11, 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the Bamboo Room of the China Council office building, 221 NW 2nd Ave, Portland, Oregon. Join the cross-sector dialogue!
