Immigration Issues Affecting Chinese in Midwest America

May 27, 2016 @ 7:30 am - 8:10 am

In this Tai Luntan, two thoughtful, engaged leaders of Chinese-American communities in the American Midwest, Swallow Yan and Jerry Xu, share and discuss their personal observations of issues and impacts related to Chinese social, cultural, and political integration in America.  Commenting self-critically on tendencies and habits of established Chinese-American communities, their conversation complements and extends the dialogue started with the previous TLT.

Swallow Yan is the Executive Director of the Chinese Association of Iowa.
Jerry Xu is the President of the Detroit Chinese Business Association.
